How to make Dum ka Qeema by Chef Zubaida Tariq

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Beef mince 1kg
  • Onion 3
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Poppy 1tbsp
  • Black pepper sabut 6
  • Cloves 4
  • Almond fried 6
  • Lemon 4
  • Green chilies chopped 3
  • Raw papaya grind 2tbsp
  • Red chilies grind 1tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • White cumin 1tsp
  • Black cumin 1tsp
  • Green Cardamom (Choti Ilaichi) 8
  • Fried gram griend 21bsp
  • Mint (1 ghuti chopped)
  • Oil or ghee 1 cup

How to make Dum ka Qeema by Chef Zubaida Tariq


First of all grind all dry spices together. Take a pot and add in chop mince, yogurt, ginger, garlic, red chilies, green chilies, mint, and raw papaya and grind spices and add ghee then mix well. After this add lemon juice and then leave it for 15 minutes .Put the pot on low flame and cover the pot well. When water dry then add raw ghee and one very hot coal to give smoke. After this put the pot on very low flame for dum .First five, minutes put on high flame and then does flame very low. When mince become red it will be ready. When you dish out this Dum qeema garnish with onion, mint and green chilies.
